Nordstrom Sale 2017 Try On Session – My Picks (so far)

Hello friends! I finally received the majority of my items in from the Nordstrom Sale! A lot more are on the way (Shhh….don’t tell my hubby! Just kidding… he actually doesn’t mind!). But I thought I’d do a quick try on session for you to get a feel for the fit of these pieces in addition to seeing how I style them.  For reference, I’m 5’8″ tall and typically wear a size XS (more fitting), S (looser fit) in tops, 2-ish in jeans & 8.5 in shoes. Let me know if you have any questions! I’m happy to help! (P.S. This is only about half of the items I received thus far, the other half has already been sent back due to ill fitting items or unexpected colors! I only share the items I truly love and would recommend to all of you lovely ladies!)

OUTFIT 1 (above):

This tank is stunning in person! I love the embroidery so much! It pairs so well with many different types of bottoms! I would say it’s true to size (TTS). The Jean-ish leggings are fabulous as well. Talk about a slimming bottom that works well with so many tops. And these suede heels are so cute & comfy – I purchased the black suede ones as well!

Outfit 2 (above):

The second I saw this coat online, I knew I had to have it! It’s a great replacement for my current white coat that has seen better days! I bought both the XS and S and the XS fit me best! The Tory Burch bag in Oak is divine! I’m loving this leather color. She has a few more bags in her collection with this color that aren’t sold out! I’d grab them before they are gone!

  By the time I ordered this coat, it was already sold out in XS. I am wearing the Small and it’s just too large on my arms. The pattern is so pretty, I wish it would’ve fit!

These Nike Sneakers are so fun! I love that they have snakeskin print on them. Super easy to dress them up and wear them for occasions other than working out!

Burgundy tends to look great on my complexion, so I snagged this long cardigan up as soon as I could! Both the XS (wearing here) and the S fit perfect! And the ivory sweater is one of the softest sweaters I own! I understand how they are selling out super quickly! And at under $25 – it’s a steal! Lastly, these metallic oxford shoes are adorable! I get so many compliments on them. Such a great trendy piece!

Who doesn’t love a lavender suede crossbody bag?! I sure do! I’ll be wearing this one A LOT! I’m also totally digging these boots! Black suede and lighter wood soles – adorable!

I have this exact jacket in blush. I love it. I love this one. Moto jackets are my jam. If you don’t have one, go get one! You’ll be happy you did!

Another moto jacket?! Why yes! I accidentally bought the size small instead of x-small but I’m making due! It’s so gorgeous and I guarantee I’ll be wearing it often! Not to mention, these super comfortable boots that complement the gray of the jacket perfectly, right?

Originally, I laughed (to myself) that people were going crazy over t-shirts during this #NSale. BUT after trying this one on, I really see what the hype is about! Granted, I won’t be tucking it in like this, it’s just to show off the jeans – but it is SO soft!! I’m all about cozy!  After trying on a TON of jeans, I got my mom’s approval on AG Jeans. According to her, they looked the best on me. I tended to agree. Yes, they are pricey, but you can always find a sale or wait until they clearance them out. The ones I’m wearing above are currently sold out – but here are some other great options (that I just bought!) that are on major sale: AG Jean & AG Jean & AG Jean.  Oh, and I can’t forget these leopard shoes! They fit perfectly and you can dress them up or down. During my mom’s shopping spree (shopping the items I already had delievered to my home from the Nordstrom Sale) she also chose to take a pair of these home with her (I ordered my normal size and a 1/2 size up – the 1/2 size up fit her perfectly!)

Last year, I bought a white top like this and when I saw it in blush this year – I wanted to give it a try. I love how pretty the blush pink is!

This long cardigan is selling out FAST. If you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend! I purchased the blush, gray, black, and burgundy. Can’t have too many of these, right?!
