amˈbiSH(ə)n/
noun
a strong desire to do or to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work.
I’m sure we all know a few people who are talented but lack ambition to do anything with it. For me, it’s so rough to watch them walk through life aimlessly. We want to help them. We want to give them guidance. But time and time again, we realize that ambition can’t be taught. You must want ambition in order to have it.
Here’s some ways ambition can be “lit” in others:
- They can see your ambition and copy it. If they mimic ambition enough, it is much easier for their ambition to appear.
- You can scare them into being ambitious. Teachers or parents may do this; but honestly, force-fed ambition is rarely kept.
Ambition is truly an awakening. You take note of your life and where it is going, and then, you see the path you would rather be on and run towards it as fast as possible.
My hope is that all of you seize your ambition and move forward towards your dreams.
Happy Monday!
