  1. TOTALLY agree! Even when I’m feeling ick or am not liking my hair/outfit/shoes/you-name-it, a smile can make a MAJOR difference so I try to smile through it all. Love it!

    1. Thank you! And I’ve done that plenty of times, too! I’d rather have smile marks on my face when I age, rather than scowl marks! =)

  8. I read a quote by Kim Kardashian once where she said she rarely smiles because it causes wrinkles. I thought, “Girl, life is too short. What a sad way to live.” Smiling is good for your soul. And indeed, happy girls are the prettiest, wrinkles and all. 😉

  11. I love this!! Sometimes I feel like when I walk by someone and smile it almost like scares people or they think I’m up to something. ha. It’s amazing what a simple smile or hello can do for someones day, the world will live in has come so consumed by the negative and in technology that we forget the little things like smiling!

  12. I agree with this, but I’m also confused a bit by the sentiment that people should smile just to smile. I have a resting face often and though I’m sure it doesn’t look unpleasant, the only people who have ever told me to smile are men, usually creeps at that. And then they usually end up with a dirty look because really, no one needs to tell ME what to do with my body.

  13. Totally agree and this is a good reminder to smile more! It is rare to come across strangers in public who are smiling just to smile so I need to make sure I am the one smiling often! Thanks for sharing.
