When winter comes, I’m sure that you find that your skin decides to change and starts becoming extremely uncooperative. This winter my skin has been the driest it has ever been. My lower cheeks are constantly in need of exfoliating in order to stay smooth and soft. I’ve tried many lotions, liquid exfoliators, oils, etc., but they work for a day then the dry skin is back the next morning.
Instead of wasting my time and money on applying beauty products, I decided I wanted to try something new. Since I heard great things about PMD (Personal Microderm) I jumped at the chance to review it.
When it came in the mail, I was SO excited. Then I took a good look at it, read the instructions and watched the video. It does what?! It suctions and buffs your skin?! I can’t lie, I was so nervous after reading some of the guidelines. But nevertheless, I decided I’d suck it up (see what I did there?) and give it a try. I needed this dry skin to go away!
The package includes the PMD, multiple interchangeable exfoliating disks with different intensities, charging cable, and a training DVD.
As suggested, I started with the training disk. TIP: Make sure to insert the disk all the way into the device.
The disk should sit below the top of the cap. TIP: If it is above the cap, it could possibly catch on to your skin during usage. I followed instructions, so this didn’t happen to me and now it won’t happen to you either! =)
After you’ve set up the PMD, test it on your arm. Once I got the courage to actually touch my arm, I realized this was seriously painless! However, the suction feeling/sound it so different. It gives off a slight hum sound then does a bit of a pop sound after you un-suction it from your skin. But again, no pain what-so-ever. =) P.s. This suction triggers our bodies to build collagen and elastin which leaves the skin firm and radiant!
When you start the treatment on your face, be sure to pull your skin tight. Glide the PMD in slightly upward straight lines and keep it moving. I switched out the disk depending on what area of the face I was treating. Larger disk for my overall face and smaller disk for around my nose and chin. Once you take off the cap you can see that the PMD definitely works — tiny pieces of dead skin will be visible! Glad I got all that off my face!! To clean it, just rinse the cap under warm water with soap.
After using this PMD for a mere 2 weeks (once a week), I’ve already noticed a big difference in my skin. It’s so soft and those dry patches are disappearing! Talk about getting some radiant skin back! And I LOVE how I only need to use this once a week!
PMD was kind enough to offer a 15% off coupon code for all of my readers! So if you want to say bye, bye to your skin problems, use the code “beautiful15” at checkout on PMD’s website!

I’m always interested in learning about these different tools & I love reading about them from people I trust. I was curious about this one and I always worried that it was too abrasive. Thanks for the review, I’ll have to check this out! xx adaatude.com
